Together Again!
These past months have been exhausting on many levels. Many of you know about all the changes that have been going on in my life …I am happy to say that life is getting better for all. I have not been able to be at my easel much, but the times I have been able to paint have been an oasis of peace.
Tomorrow is another change..I will be meeting my dear longtime artist friends for 10 days filled with art and rest. We will rendezvous in Greensboro, NC and then travel to the Women Artists of the West Annual National Show in Raleigh, NC at the Centerpiece Gallery there. I do not have any work in this show, but will enjoy seeing the work there as well as helping with the weekend events. I also look forward to seeing a cousin from my early days in Mount Airy, NC. and of course we will be stocking up on art supplies!
We then hit the road again and travel west to West Jefferson and Lansing, NC to teach a unique 2 day workshop. We also plan to do some of our own painting since it will be leaf peeping season.
